"Transparent" LCD Monitors
I've seen this done with other computers and laptops and always wanted to try it out. The main thing that prevented me from doing this was lack of a good camera and mainly a tripod to put the camera on.
Then all the sudden I realized I had an old tripod from a video camera that is currently broken (battery missing).
I found a couple good sites that showed how to make this 'transparency' effect without actually destroying your monitor.

The steps I took:
Took away both monitors.
Setup tripod with camera (purple Kodak EASYSHARE M753). Had to strap the camera on with a big rubberband...lol
Took a picture of desktop
Added monitors. Taking care to not move a lot of things on the desk
Took another picture WITH the computer on.
In Photoshop Elements 2.0 I edited the files...(I COULD go into details, but too advanced. Just read the links I gave you ealier)
